The Fitzroy Learning Centre Model

Individuals or companies who wish to operate their own Fitzroy Learning Centre have two options:

  1. They can purchase the Master Centre Licence rights in their country (if available) or
  2. They can purchase a Centre Licence.

Master Centre Licence

Owning the Master Centre Licence in your country enables you not only to operate your own Fitzroy Learning Centres (FLCs), but also sub-licence others. It will be an exclusive agreement between you and the Fitzroy Learning Centre.

Depending on the country involved, the details of the contract vary slightly (please contact info@fitzroylearningcentre.com to find out precise details); but as owner you will receive the following benefits:

  1. Rights to operate your own Fitzroy Learning Centre(s) in your country
  2. Rights to sub-licence Fitzroy Learning Centres in your country
  3. A digital copy of our 600+ page centre manual with between for 4-6 lesson plans for each of the 70 Reader levels. (The pre-Reader levels have up to 9 lesson plans.)
  4. Digital files to help with branding and design.
  5. End of level tests.
  6. Worksheets created specifically for the Fitzroy Learning Centres
  7. Space on the Fitzroy Learning Centre website to promote your centres
  8. Exclusive rights to the use of the Fitzroy Learning Centre name in your country
  9. The option of additional Fitzroy Method training
  10. Rights to any new Fitzroy Learning Centre educational and branding materials created during the terms of the contract.

Fitzroy Method Distributorship

The Fitzroy Method is a complete literacy program. Developed over 30+ years, it has found its way into over 3500 Australian schools, as well as several overseas markets (in particular: Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea).

Due to its excellent results (see the Why Us? and Testimonials web pages), we are rapidly expanding into new markets and teaching struggling students to become good readers and good students to become outstanding ones.

In our bid to break into new markets, we are currently offering exclusive distributorship licences in many countries.

Under an Exclusive Distributorship Licence, only you or your sub-distributors will have the right to distribute the Fitzroy Method range in your country. The distributorship rights include the rights to either distribute or manufacture our entire range (note: the manufacture licence excludes the Fitzroy Readers Talking Software and the Fitzroy Word Families books). Our range includes:

  • The 70 Fitzroy Readers, Books 1 to 60, including books 1x to 10x
  • The Fitzroy Word Skills, 8 books 1, 1X, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6A and 6B
  • The Fitzroy Word Skills Answer Books, 8 books 1 to 6B
  • 8 Audio CDs of the Fitzroy Readers 1 to 60
  • The Teacher's Guide
  • The Fitzroy Alphabet Book
  • The Alphabetics Game
  • The Fitzroy Sounds
  • The Fitzroy Files CD of useful documents.
  • The Fitzroy Talking Readers Software

Exclusive Distribution Licence

An Exclusive Distribution Licence enables the holder to exclusive distributorship in the chosen country. The distributor will purchase goods directly from Fitzroy Programs (creators of the Fitzroy Method materials) at a discount to be agreed upon.

The holder of the Exclusive Distribution Licence is entitled to create sub-distributors in the chosen country.

Exclusive distributors will need to purchase an agreed upon minimum yearly quota of materials from Fitzroy Programs. (The amount varies from country to country. Please write to support@fitzprog.com.au to find out price details for your country.)

Manufacture and Distribution Licence

The Manufacture and Distribution Licence grants the holder all the benefits of the Exclusive Distribution Licence as well as the rights to manufacture (print / copy) the entire Fitzroy range with the exception of the Fitzroy Talking Readers Software and the Fitzroy Word Families books.

In return for an agreed upon yearly sum, the Manufacture and Distribution Licence holder will be permitted to print / copy the Fitzroy range in any volume desired. The prices are fixed, regardless of the volume of material printed / copied.

Goods can only be distributed in the country for which the Exclusive Distribution Licence is held.
